Robin Deriaz / Biography

Atelier, autobiography, and exhibition trajectory.

Robin Deriaz develops jewelry as an architectural language where structure, light, and tactility are treated as one system. Each collection begins through volumetric studies, balancing proportion and negative space before ornamental decisions are made. This method allows every piece to hold presence from distance while revealing nuanced craft under close reading.

The core dialogue lies between precious metals and raw matter. Gold and silver provide precision, edge clarity, and luminous depth. References to concrete and stone introduce weight, silence, and surface memory. Through this tension, the work seeks forms that feel both engineered and geological, intimate and monolithic.

For acquisitions, the Shop acts as the bridge between studio research and collectors, carrying the same architectural standards from concept to placement. Finishes are layered: absorbent matte planes, reflective interior cuts, and micro-transitions that shape shadow as carefully as contour.
